The Sagol Center for Regenerative Medicine

Turning regenerative medicine into a clinical reality

The SCRM Sagol Regenerative Medicine is an advanced, interdisciplinary platform which combines cellular therapy, translational engineering medicine and personalized clinical treatments.

The innovative center builds the structure of regenerative medicine towards the clinical stages, and it’s became possible thanks to generous donation of Sami Sagol.

The center aims to advance research that can promote the development of groundbreaking drugs and treatments, as well as to train the next generation of researchers-physicians in the field.

The center focuses on 3 main areas:

  • Education - a dedicated track for outstanding students. We aim to generate Sagol scholarships in regenerative medicine in all academic levels from first degree summer students through Msc, PhD and MD-PhD up to PI level. Comprehensive training both by academic courses and by specific internships in academic, clinical and industrial laboratories. This track will be based on scholarships for academic excellence.

  • Research and development – The center promote advancing pioneering state-of-the-art approaches and technologies, by supporting young, promising, and cutting age PI scientists as well as innovated research activities. This track will finance grants and new lab fully support.

  • Collaborations and innovation - the center is a base for academic, clinical, and industrial collaborations, a place for a fruitful meetings and groundbreaking projects between Israeli and international leaders in the field.
