Prof. Josef Haik

Prof. Josef Haik is a specialist in Aesthetic and reconstruction plastic surgery and a member of the Israeli Association of plastic surgery. Prof Haik is a member of the American Burn Association, Member of the Israeli Association for Aesthetic plastic surgery and a member of the Israel Medical Association, Member of the International Association for aesthetic surgery and the Israeli Association for healing wounds Member of the UN WHO EMT for burns, a consultant to many medical devices and pharma companies as well as startups, a consultant to the major general of the Israeli medical corps at the IDF, director of the Green Laboratory and Skin bank of the Sheba Medical Center. Prof. Haik contributed to write chapters in medical textbooks and published numerous of articles in Aesthetic plastic, Burns, reconstructions, skin substitutes, wound care and epidemiology. Prof. Haik serves as the medical reviewer for IMAJ, WOUNDS, BURNS as well as a FRONTIERS DISASTER MEDICINE.
