Dr. Shay Duvdevani

Dr. Duvdevani graduated in 2003 from The Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School. He completed his residency in otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Sheba Medical Center between 2004 and 2010 which was followed by a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Prosper-Hospital in Germany. He returned in 2011 to the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Sheba Medical Center as facial plastic surgeon. 

Dr. Duvdevani is internationally board certified from the International Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (IBCFPRS) and has been appointed by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS) to be a program director of a global fellowship for facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. In addition, he founded the Israeli Society of Facial and Reconstructive Surgery of the ENT Head and Neck Surgery Association. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented his works at scientific conferences in Israel and around the world. 

Dr. Duvdevani is very experienced in primary and revision rhinoplasty. He specializes in auricular and middle ear reconstruction, complex facial reconstruction, and aesthetic facial surgery. To fulfill this vision, he set up the Sheba Tissue Engineering Research Laboratory and serves as the head of this lab and the principal investigator.
